As I sit here writing this the rain is beating down on the window and I am all wrapped up in fluffy socks and a fluffy dressing gown which is pretty fitting given the theme of this months box – Cosy at Home!
This has to be one of my favourite boxes I have received over the past year or so, 2 full size products and a few awesome samples plus I loved the prints that were included in the box especially the teacup print.
Beauty Protector Treatment Mask
I have received a few Beauty Protector products in previous boxes and I do love the range. I was so glad to see this product as I have not had my hair cut in over 10 weeks now and the ends definitely needed some TLC.
This product has argon oil, honey and amber which gives it a really lovely sweet scent and according to the packet the ingredients also include crushed pearls! This had made the ends of my hair feel a lot less dry and it does seem a lot shinier too.
Dr Jart V7 Turnover Booster
I had never actually heard of this brand until I received this months Birchbox but after having a quick search online I found a lot of positive reviews, which is always good.
The Turnover Booster is a gel that turns into a liquid when placed on the skin and the ingredients boast 7 different key vitamins.
I have only used this product twice so I can’t currently see a noticeable difference but I am going to continue to use it as I really like the texture when applied to the skin and the feel of my skin after. Also, the scent of this product is not overpowering like some other products I have tried. I would really like to try some of the other products in the Dr Jart range as I have read nothing but great things about the toner and cleansing foam.
I am hopefully going to purchase these products soon so watch this space, a full product review on all three products used together may be live very soon!
Weleda Body Oil
I was a slightly disappointed when I saw this product in my box, not because it’s not a great product but because I have received it before and I prefer to try new products.
This body oil does smell amazing as it has a strong citrus smell which is one of my favourite scents for shower and bath products.
This oil makes your skin feel silky smooth after applying, but I would recommend waiting for it to dry properly before trying to put on jeans as it can be a little bit difficult!
OPI A Grape Affair!

This is the second of the full size products in this months box and I love it! OPI is one of my go to brands for nail polish and their new Coca-Cola collection is amazing. The shade I received is A Grape Affair! and this is the perfect shade for the winter and it does also match my hair.

OPI’s ProWide brush is one of the best brushes to apply polish with, it glides on easily and allows for a streak-free finish.
I’ve taken a look at the Coca-Cola collection, (here), and there are a few other colours that I fancy treating myself to including Get Cherried Away and Bearest of Them All!
Jane Iredale Lash Extender

Jane Iredale Purelash Lash Extender + Conditioner
I was so pleased to see this Jane Iredale product in this months box as it’s something I have been using for a little while now and it is absolutely incredible!
Not only does it lengthen your lashes it also strengthens them too, in the months that I have been using the lash extender I have been complimented on how long my lashes look and I have been asked numerous times what mascara I use, (currently Benefit they’re real! by the way!).
the first time I purchased this I was pleasantly surprised with the price of this product as it is only £17.50, I was half expecting it to be at least double the price, so I’m expecting this to be under a few of my friends and family’s Christmas trees next month!
