May Favourites

Urban Decay

Until I started taking photos for this post I didn’t quite realise how many Urban Decay products I had bought in May! On top of the products pictured, I also bought the Naked 2 palette and Make Up setting Spray…oops, although you can never own to many Urban Decay products!
I have been looking for some make up for my sister’s wedding and was so happy when I found the lipstick, lip liner and eye shadow in the exact colours I needed, even better I got a sample of the perversion mascara, which I have been dying to try, and it is amazing.
I did post about the Benefit Hello Flawless foundation I also bought in May but after wearing it quite a few times I decided it wasn’t for me so I was on the look out for a new one when I saw this in the House of Fraser, (I was only meant to be picking up my other products!).
I really love this foundation and the shade is a perfect match, although I’m not going to review the product now as I have a few Urban Decay posts due to go live soon!

Pretty Little Thing Coat

I seem to have turned into a bit of a coat collector over the past 12 months and although we should be approaching summer soon I had to buy this coat from Pretty Little Thing when it was in the sale the other day.
I have managed to create so many different outfits around this one coat, a few I will be posting as soon as my photographer (boyfriend) is able to take some photos for me!

 Consumer Power

Cooper and Hill Charlotte Cross Bag, Cooper and Hill Richmond Purse
I blogged about the new concept of bulk purchasing that Cooper and Hill recently introduced on their website, post is here
The basic concept is the more people to register their interest in a product the more the price goes down, you can read more about it here
Currently the Richmond purse has hit the target and received 1000 likes 4 days before it is removed from Crowd & Co meaning the price has dropped to £32. Now that it has received the maximum amount of interest you can now pre-order this purse and then order before 13th June.
I actually already own the Richmond Purse in red so I have registered my interest in the Charlotte Cross bag which is current at 65% of the total interest needed so it is £60 rather than £120.
Although, I would prefer to be cheeky and pay a little bit less so go over and register your interest now, if this bag gets to 1000 likes in the next few days the price will drop to £39!

 Bleach London

Now that I have embraced the granny hair trend and dyed my hair grey/silver I have started using the Bleach London Silver Shampoo and Conditioner to try and keep the colour for as long as possible.
I have tried a few other brands but they didn’t seem to make the colour last but I have found that Bleach London seems so much better!
I have also bought the white toner but I have not used it yet, not only because I wasn’t quite at the stage where I needed it but because I kept chickening out, I was too scared I would ruin my hair!

My big sister is finally getting married on Saturday and a couple of weeks ago we all flew up to Newcastle for the weekend!
It was absolutely amazing, I was originally a bit nervous about going as I didn’t really know that many people but in the end it turned about to be absolutely fine and we had such a laugh.

When we first arrived we went straight to our rooms and dressed as Mario and Luigi, except for the bride who was Princess Peaches of course!, we then went straight to the city centre and partied the night away in Sam Jacks, plus plenty of other clubs. I have to say the night life in Newcastle was absolutely fabulous, the people so friendly…and the cheesy chips were pretty good!
After a pretty late night for most people we had cocktail making at Revs on the Saturday, after working in similar bars over the years I was slightly apprehensive but I must admit I really enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone!
We had an amazing hostess and the games we played were absolutely hilarious.

On the Saturday night it was little black dress night, it turns out a lot of other hens had black dresses and pink sashes on so it was chaos as everyone kept walking off with the wrong group!
Sadly, we didn’t get any pictures of everyone together on the Saturday night but I am going to be posting the outfit I wore in the coming weeks.

After an amazing, but tiring, weekend in Newcastle we were also lucky enough to meet Jamie Redknapp in the airport whilst waiting for our plane home. He was even nice enough to write in my Sister’s Hen Party book!
